As part of your membership with Gym Club Solutions your club, coaches, gymnasts and members automatically receive the benefit of the group insurance policy.
In brief, the Gym Club Solutions insurance provides the following cover:
Both the Liability and Personal Accident insurance apply when a member of GCS is participating in any of the following activities in a GCS affiliated club. The conditions of the GCS membership policy must be followed in order to be covered.
- Gymnastics (Gymnastics For All)
- Women’s artistic gymnastics
- Pre-School gymnastics
- Mens artistic gymnastics
- Tumbling
- Freestyle Gymnastics
- Bouncy Castles in Play class settings
- Cover is extended to include 2 free taster sessions (coaches will closely supervise them on these sessions)
- Birthday Parties (Non-members covered)
- HAF & Holiday clubs (Non-members covered)
Limits of cover are as follows:
Public & Products Liability – £10,000,000 any one occurrence, but limited to £10,000,000 in the aggregate in respect of Products Liability, Abuse limited to £2,000,000. Cover for clubs and/or individuals if they are found to be legally responsible for causing injury or damage to property.
Professional Indemnity – £10,000,000 any one claims, but limited to £10,000,000 in the aggregate. Cover to protect clubs or coaches for claims made against them which allege injury or loss caused by a negligent act, error or omission during coaching activities.
Employers Liability – £10,000,000 any one occurrence. Provides cover in respect of claims made against clubs for injuries caused to an employee or volunteer of the club during the course of their employment.
Directors & Officers Liability – £1,000,000 any one occurrence, but limited to £1,000,000 in the aggregate. Provides cover for claims made directly against clubs or individuals in a managerial position for alleged wrongful acts.
Personal Accident – Provides a benefit payment following accidental injury whilst participating in organised member activities.
£10,000 death, Paralysis (legs, arms, torso, one side of your body, waist down), loss of 2 or more limbs, loss of both eyes.
£5,000 permanent loss of sight in one eye.
£2,500 permanent loss of hearing, permanent loss of whole limb, Permanent Loss of Whole Shoulder, Elbow, Hip, Knee, Wrist and/or Ankle.
£1,000 permanent loss of whole thumb or big toe.
£500 permanent loss of any other finger or toe, broken bone, dental services, facial scarring, additional expenses.
£50 Physiotherapy and chiropractic (maximum 6 sessions).
When does the cover operate?
The insurance covers affiliated clubs, coaches and members for organised Gymnastic and related activities carried out under the guidelines, syllabus and ratios of Gym Club Solutions. Cover is restricted to activities in the UK only.
Claims
It is important that all claims and incidents that may give rise to a claim, however minor, are reported to Gym club solutions without delay on info@gymclubsolutions.co.uk
